DFW East Corridor · Documented Chain of Custody

The precision of a national carrier. The proximity of a neighbor.

Sentinel handles specimen, pharmaceutical and medical-supply transport across the DFW east corridor, under documented chain of custody and the temperature and packaging standard each payload requires. We built the operation around what this work demands, and we run every route to the same standard.

Services

Five services, one operating standard.

Specimens, pharmaceuticals, supplies and dedicated routes — each one handled to the same documented standard, run after run.

How It Works

Four steps, documented from request to delivery.

A clear, repeatable process — the same on a one-time run as on a contracted route.

  1. 01

    Request or Schedule

Your call is answered in minutes, not queued. Book a single run or set up a standing route.

  2. 02

    Confirmed & Dispatched

We confirm with pickup details and an ETA. Your instructions are already on file, so nothing has to be re-explained.

  3. 03

    Monitored Transport

The correct temperature and packaging standard, with custody captured at every handoff.

  4. 04

    Documented Delivery

A signed delivery record with condition notes, retained and available whenever you need it.

How We Operate

The same standard on every run, by design.

Sentinel runs on documented procedure and automated monitoring: written SOPs for handling, packaging and escalation, and route profiles that hold each facility's requirements on file. Specimens arrive in the condition they left in, pickups happen in your scheduled window, and every run holds to the same standard. It is the infrastructure a national carrier operates on, applied to an operation already inside your corridor.

Documented Procedures

Written procedures cover every situation we handle: packaging, temperature, incident response, escalation. Every run follows the same one, regardless of who is driving.

You Hear It From Us First

If a pickup runs late, a seal looks wrong, or anything goes sideways, you get a call from us before you get one from your client. Every courier is fine on a good day. What matters is who tells you when it is not one.

Transition Without a Gap

Switching couriers should not be a risk you absorb. Your route profile is built and confirmed before the first live run, so there is no learning period where your specimens are the training material.

Continuity by Design

Documented route profiles, standing instructions and contingency procedures mean a vehicle problem or an unavailable driver is an event we handle, not a pickup you lose.

This kind of infrastructure usually comes with a national carrier and a back office. Sentinel runs it because the monitoring, scheduling and record-keeping are automated rather than manual — which is how a local operation holds a national's standard.

DFW East Corridor
  • Already in the corridor when you call

A Dallas-based courier spends 30 to 45 minutes simply reaching Rockwall. We are already here.

  • Your requirements are on file

Your dock, access instructions, contact and time windows are recorded in your route profile. You specify them once.

  • Answered fast, every time

No hold queue, no ticket number, no overseas call centre.

  • Built for where the corridor is going

We plan routes around US-80, I-30 and FM-548, and around where the corridor is growing.

Don't see your location?

We're based in Fate, right in the DFW east corridor. If your facility sits just outside the map, ask us about coverage. We build routes as the corridor grows.

Compliance is the operating standard, not a page on the website.

FAQ

Questions, answered clearly.

Blood, urine, tissue, swabs, cultures and pathology slides — most UN3373 Category B biological specimens. We do not accept Category A infectious substances.

Two ways. Our training is current and we sign a BAA with every facility — and, more fundamentally, our systems do not receive patient data in the first place. Our dispatch and documentation records carry logistics only: facility, time, temperature, specimen category. Patient identifiers remain on the sealed requisition.

We match the cooler to your payload — ambient, refrigerated or frozen — and record the condition at pickup and at delivery.

We are based in Fate and cover the corridor through Rockwall, Royse City, Rowlett, Wylie, Forney and Kaufman. Ask us about contracted routes across the wider DFW area.

Yes. Named windows, a route profile held on file, and consistent service built around your facility's schedule.

You receive confirmation at pickup and a signed proof of delivery with condition notes. For time-critical runs, contracted clients have a direct escalation contact — not a tracking page.

Our standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm. Contracted clients can arrange time-critical and after-hours service as part of their agreement. We do not offer walk-up urgent service, and we do not publish a guaranteed response time.

A medical courier is trained and equipped to handle regulated medical materials — lab specimens, pharmaceuticals and patient-related documents — under HIPAA chain-of-custody and biohazard handling requirements. A regular courier is not. We are trained and equipped for exactly those requirements.

The secure, time-sensitive movement of laboratory specimens — blood, urine, tissue samples and pathology materials — from a collection site to a reference laboratory, under documented chain-of-custody procedures that preserve sample integrity and patient privacy. We handle Category B biological specimens to UN3373 packaging requirements.

Yes. As a HIPAA-compliant medical courier, we sign a BAA with every client facility as part of standard onboarding for any service involving protected health information.

Send us a note through the quote form on this site, or email dispatch@sentinelmedicaltransport.net. We will discuss your pickup frequency, locations, time windows and handling requirements, then build a recurring route around your schedule.

For contracted routes we may use vetted partner couriers who meet the same standards we do — HIPAA-trained, insured, and operating under our documented procedures and chain-of-custody requirements. Any partner courier signs a BAA and carries liability coverage naming Sentinel. If you require a Sentinel-employed courier on every run, we will write that into your agreement.
